Topic: The Ever Present God
Scripture Reading: Psalm 145:1-21
Main Text
Psalm 145:18-19
'The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.'
The nearness or remoteness of a friend is very material and considerable in our troubles, distresses, wants, dangers etc. One would say; "I have such a friend and he would help me, but he lives so far off; and I have another friend that has a great love for me, that is able to counsel me, and to speak a word in season to me, and that in my distress would stand close to me, but he is so remote."
The Lord is indeed a very present help in times of trouble. There's no hindrance for grace and help when He's called upon.
He heard the cry of the two blind men and enlightened them. He heard the lepers and cleansed them. He heard the cry of the dying thief and promised him Paradise. Never has one yet cried to King Jesus who has not been heard and delivered.
The desires of those who call upon Him in truth are always fulfilled according to His will. Call upon Jesus today!
Prayer:
Pray for the Lord's help in all circumstances today in Jesus' name. Amen
The Lord bless your week!
Shalom
