Topic: The Lord Our Strength

Scripture Reading: Psalm 125:1-5

Main Text
Psalm 125:1-2

'Those who trust in the Lord
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.'

Sometimes challenges and situations become so formidable and you tend to become anxious about how things will work out in your favour.

Our text tells us about mountains which signify challenges which impede progress. But as the mountains surround you so is the Lord with you. The higher the challenge the higher the victory.

The servant of Elisha, the prophet, could only see the army which was against them but Elisha saw the presence of God even in that situation which was his strength. (2Kings 6:16-17)

What do you see in your circumstances? In spite of the persisting situation, trust in God's strength for greater victories.
Selah

Prayer:
Lord God, thank You that You are always with me in all circumstances for greater victories in Jesus' name. Amen

Have a victorious week!
Shalom
