Topic: God's Everlasting Faithfulness

Scripture Reading: Genesis 26:1-16

Main Text
Genesis 26:1-3

'There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar.
Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.'

When the famine came Abraham fled to Egypt. Isaac wanted to do the same but God stopped him. Then restated the blessing to his father.

Like Abraham, Isaac assessed God’s faithfulness based on the situation at hand. He forgot that God is still in control of everything.

God's faithfulness cannot be altered by situations.
Our knowledge of God’s faithfulness transforms our perception of challenges and enables us to accomplishing the promises of God concerning us.

Begin this month trusting in the Lord's faithfulness no matter where you find yourself for there is a performance at hand.

Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for Your faithfulness concerning my life in all things in Jesus' name. Amen

Tell a neighbour about Jesus Christ today. Blessings!
Shalom
